The Elementary classes are for children ages 6-12, grades first through sixth. These classes meet daily, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Elementary students bring their lunch from home. For children who need extended care there is an After School Program from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for an added fee of $7.00/day at 516 West Cleveland Street. Before School Care from 7:45 to 8:15 is available also at 516 West Cleveland Street for those students riding the school's bus. Children are bussed between the two schools for a nominal fee ($2/trip).

Returning Students
For all returning students, applications should be received by March 31st. A two-month non-refundable tuition deposit is required in order to complete the registration process. Half the deposit is due April 1st and half the deposit is due on May 1st. The two-month tuition deposit received will be applied to the April and May tuition due for the school year registered. All deposits are non-refundable.
During the school year, monthly bills are issued on the first school day of the month and payable upon receipt.
Monthly bills include tuition fees for the current month and service fees given for services received the previous month.
A 5% per month discount from tuition fees is available for each additional sibling from a family.
A 3% discount is applied to tuition fees if payment of the full year's tuition is received by September 15th.

There are two annual fees assessed with the September bill as follows:
$65 per child for a combination of liability insurance and the American Montessori Society membership,
and $100 per child for supplies.

The school requires an Immunization Record and an Emergency Contact Form upon initial enrollment. The Emergency Contact Form must be updated annually.
Commitments
The Learning Circle Montessori Elementary School is a school with annual commitments for salaries and maintenance. Parents/or guardians are responsible for tuition and other fees regardless of illness or absences. Enrollment is for the full school year. The school is an independent, non-profit organization and must meet expenses of a continuing nature, based on estimated tuition for the entire year. A thirty-day written notice is required before withdrawing a child from the school or the tuition is still due.
The Montessori philosophy is based on a three year curriculum (6-9 years and 9-12 years). We strongly recommend children be enrolled for at least two years to ensure they receive the maximum benefit of the program.
