She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Indiana University School of Music in 1999. Krista attended training at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, CO and earned an American Montessori Society Elementary I and II Credential. |  |

Tamela Brosten, Lower Elementary Classroom Teacher and Spanish Teacher, joined The Learning Circle Montessori Elementary in 2000. She received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Montana State University in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. Tamela holds a Montana State Teacher Certification in Elementary Education K-8 and Spanish K-12. She attended the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, CO and received an American Montessori Society Elementary I Credential. She is a board member of the Montana Montessori Educator's Association. Tamela has traveled extensively and has lived in various countries around the world. |  |

Julie Hewson, Health Enhancement Teacher, joined The Learning Circle Montessori Elementary in 2007. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Development with a Health Enhancement K-12 Option from Montana State University. She has worked with children in a variety of movement environments. In addition to working at LCME, Julie is employed at Lone Mountain Gymnastics. | |

Laurie Kester, Upper Elementary Teacher, joined The Learning Circle Montessori Elementary in 2005. Previously, Laurie taught in a multi-age 4th and 5th grade classroom in Charlotte, NC. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with honors from Montana State University. Laurie attended training at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, CO and earned an American Montessori Society Elementary II Credential. |  |

Trina Rainey, Music Teacher, joined The Learning Circle Montessori Elementary in 2006. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music performance from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and a second Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She has a private practice here in Bozeman called Healing Harmony Music Therapy. Additionally, Trina taught in a 3-6 classroom at Mary's Montessori in Boone, North Carolina as well as at Little Tree Education Center, a Montessori based infant/toddler program, in Bozeman, Montana. |  |

Emily Sandefur, Lower Elementary Classroom Teacher, joined The Learning Circle Montessori Elementary in 2006. Emily came to us with eight years of Montessori teaching experience. Most recently, she was the lead teacher in a 6-9 classroom at Mountain Pathways School in Boone, North Carolina. Prior to that, Emily worked with 3-6 year olds at Montessori Cooperative Preschool in Wilson, Wyoming. She also spent four years with Providence Montessori School in Lexington, Kentucky in a 6-9 classroom. Her training was completed at Providence Montessori Teacher Education Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Additionally, Emily has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. |  |

Susie Walby, Lower Elementary Classroom Assistant Teacher and Art Teacher, joined The Learning Circle Montessori Elementary in 2007. She graduated with honors in Visual Communications from Collin's College in Tempe, AZ in 2000. Susie has been a student and teacher of yoga for the past nine years with an emphasis in structural alignment and therapeutics. Her experiences living abroad in Mexico and Germany, learning languages, and observing other cultures have helped shape her perspective. Susie attended an overview training in Kalispell, Montana for early childhood development in the Summer of 2007. | |
